BloodMoney: The Business of Abortion

Saturday, January 22nd, 2011

A shortened version of the film BloodMoney: The Business of Abortion, ran on EWTN on the evening of 1/22/11. Here is the trailer.

Besides the official website linked above, several segments of the film are available on YouTube. Perhaps the most powerful is the testimony of Carol Everett, a former independent abortion clinic owner, who detailed two botched abortions, one that killed a young woman who died of blood loss, another that left a young woman with a colostomy. According to Everett, both incidents were covered up.

Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” of Roe v. Wade, and Sandra Cano, the “Doe” of Doe v. Bolton, now both pro-life, appear in the film, along with narrator Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The film is available for home use or public viewing from the official website.

Underscoring the problem of exploitative abortion services, please see the Wall Street Journal account of the scandal in Philadelphia over the alleged abortion practices of Dr. Kermit Gosnell.
